Quilts of History:  Patriotic Photo Call

June 1 - July 5, 2026

This July 4th, America turns 250 — and what better way to celebrate than with quilts! From the Civil War to the Underground Railroad to the Civil Rights Movement, quilts have been part of our nation's story every step of the way. We would love for you to share yours.

Do you have a quilt that carries a piece of history? Whether you made it yourself or inherited it from someone dear to you, we invite you to share a photo with the MQA community. Every quilt has a story, and every story matters.

MQA members and non-members
can submit photos at mqa.clubexpress.com. Please include the quilt maker's name, the quilter's name, the quilt name, and the pattern name and/or pattern designer.

A little tip for your photo:   If you can, take your photo outside in natural light - your quilt will look its best!

By submitting your photo, you give MQA permission to share it on Mississippi Quilt Association's websites and social media platforms.

Submit your Quilt Photo and Form.
